Ali participated in the 2018 China–ASEAN University Students’ Culture Week at Haikou University of Economics.

Part of the 19th Hainan International Tourism Island Carnival, the cultural week brought together students from China, ASEAN countries and other participating nations. Its programme included cultural performances, photography exhibitions, a short-film competition, and dragon-and-lion dance activities.
